    Bahrain now Bows out

    Saturday, June 11, 2011, 6:38 AM [General]

In the on again, off again, Bahrain GP saga, the organizers have graciously bowed out for this year. The FIA have asked Bernie Ecclestone for a new schedule, with India back on for the end of October. Now, it is a question of will India be ready?? It certainly hasn't been smooth but that is the nature of F1 and the way things operate. Remember this is the world's fastest soap-opera. Why would it be easy? Stay tuned for more developments, and best wishes to the Bahraini people. Hope to see you in 2012.

    Alonso Tops F1QA Poll

    Sunday, May 22, 2011, 2:57 AM [General]

Still months after Seb Vettel's WDC triumph in Abu Dhabi, 28% of F1QA readers thought that Alonso deserved the 2010 crown. Vettel was just behind at 26%, only slghtly ahead of Mark Webber at 24%. Lewis Hamilon rounded out at 19% with Jenson Button far behind with only 3% of the popular vote.  Interesting results, thanks to everyone for participating. Congratulations to Fernando for winning the F1QA WDC!!

Oh, and a new five year contract from the Scuderia too for all his troubles.

    Felipe M. vs. Rob S.

    Friday, May 20, 2011, 7:26 PM [General]

Not really versus, more of a Q/A in the Italian Ferrari confrontational style. Scuderia fans will be thrilled, while Ferrari detractors will have more ammunition for their cause. So are the perils of Social Media. Good luck to Felipe, Rob and Ferrari in Spain, and in cyberspace too!
