Mark Webber, is playing up the underdog role before Brazil and has caused a bit of stir saying that Red Bull favor Vettel, with Red Bull claiming to be "greatly hurt" by the comment. Emotionally, I hardly believe that but one has to wonder what Mark is up to. For more insight, Peter Windsor bio's the gritty Webber's motorsport journey. So far...
Closest, fairest F1 Championship ever?
So far, whoever wins the Championship, by all accounts and scoring systems used in F1 over the years 2010 is the evenest ever. Though do miss the pre- 2003 system where the gap from 1st to 5th would be only 12 points. Those were the days...
Not a Nutter Bore-ain
First off, Aussie GP was better in Adelaide, would be better in Perth. Local pride aside, the 2010 F1 is up against the wall this weekend. Those heavy cars and lack of pit action courtesy of FOTA, coupled with the aero rules of the FIA and the clear lack of direction from FOM, are a recipe for a Nutter Bore-ain -- all year long!! There are bright spots as this article points out, yet, apart from drastic measures this season looks LOST before it even gets going. Let's hope it's better this weekend.
FIA Q&A - new team selection process
Here is the latest from the FIA with respect to the ongoing 2010 saga and the process they used to choose the new teams. Whilst the FOTA group hems and haws about whatever they are hemming and hawing about (power?), rumour has it that Coca Cola and Nascar may be lurking in the background ready to pounce. Sounds like a wild pack of Hollywood agents are sharpening their pencils. More Q&A here:
Q&A with Ayrton Senna's Manager
Julian Jakobi, Senna's business manager through his years in F1, speak franky and candidly on Ayrton, and the uniqueness of his character and talent. Quite moving stuff, in the the week of the 15year anniversary of the world champs fatal accident.
New F1 Cars
Red Bull launches their RB5 stunner, proving again that all who claimed the new cars were ugly are an unstylish lot that ought to be involved in reality shows where we visit their homes and see the horror they live in rather than expressing their opinions in public. All the 2009 F1 Cars are about the best batch since F1's golden age. Look for more pictures here:

Hamilton, toe to toe
With Ferrari QC over his chicane cutting maneouver, and still unrepentant over his illegal move, such is the ego and absurdity of this new 'face' of F1. At the end of the day a pointless waste of time and money as it was a drive-thru penalty which everyone knows are not appealable. Ron Dennis, Hami's mentor, was quoted as saying so and so and this and that, but like everything else with the mouth called Ron, if he meant what he said and said what he meant, all of this could have been solved like two or three weeks ago. Saga..... read more if you still care...
Maybe, Ron Dennis
If you ever said what you meant and meant what you said you would not have to spend so much time refuting falsehoods and correcting inaccuracies, instead of blaming the internet media for your woes. What an ego on that lot. I agree with earlier posts, the FIA should've kicked them out forever.
When life is the Pits
Quite a life it is...Seriously, what a super race at Silverstone. Kimi is coming on, good for him. This story highlights the life of an F1 mechanic from the Telegraph. Maybe it's Kimi's mechanic ...??
