    Green Engines for 2013

    Saturday, December 4, 2010, 10:34 PM [General]

They have been talking abouth this for some time now. Hopefully, they all have agreed and will have it in place in time. No worry though about Audi, who are experts at turbo engines. It will make the whole championship so much more friendly. Good news for F1.  More at the Andrew Benson blog:

    Brawn GP Mercedes

    Friday, March 6, 2009, 4:13 AM [General]

It is official, the team formerly known as Honda has been saved and will compete as Brawn GP racing. Shame about the 700 jobs, though Jens and Rube still have theirs and apparently so too does Nick Fry, hard to know why, though sometimes these things come out later than sooner. And in other instances the great talent of some managers is always to be able to hang around no matter what the consequences.

Nice to have at least 10 teams in the show, now for a few more, and all will be as it was....

    F1, Honda, Virgin

    Saturday, February 21, 2009, 7:46 PM [General]

Bernie said this week that F1 would welcome Virgin, and Sir Richard said F1 needs to be greener and Honda said that they were continuing in racing, besides dropping their F1 team. So, we have not heard from the management team who were in charge of this mess in the very first place. And, so it goes, so it goes...

    The real Lewis shines thru'

    Wednesday, November 5, 2008, 1:50 AM [General]

All year I've been giving Lewis a hard time, but these last couple of races the real person that he is has begun to emerge and he has been rewarded with the championship. He still has that hard side though somehow somewhere he has learned that now that he is in F1, it's time to get over that and get on with it. Congratulations, here's to many more exciting seasons ahead. Watch this vid of hime as youngster to see where the tough guy antics emerged from.  very good...

    Gratitude not Attitude...

    Saturday, October 18, 2008, 10:42 PM [General]

Ron Dennis is saying all champs like Senna, Schu, Connors?, McEnroe?, have attititude. Yeah, but those guys had gratitude and they were cool too! Lewis doesn't know who he is, except that he is definitely not cool. Or hip, he doesn't even seem real half the time always trying to be something that he is not. No wonder most the grid does not like him very much. We don't like him very much and it should be the opposite, we should be very happy for him.  That shows how much of a puppet he is to those around him.  A little boy without any clue. Oh mon, this one is going down to the wire...

    Wet Quali shakes it up

    Saturday, September 13, 2008, 2:05 PM [General]

The status quo fell at Monza with Kimi and Hami out of the top ten, waiting in their garages too long as the track got wetter and wetter.  Nobody better than young Seb Vettel, fearless crazy boy pedal to the metal, Ferrari engine screaming mon!  Praying to jah mechanics in the box, as wunderkind takes first pole for him and STR and the other Seb in 4th.  Crazy mon, crazy. This will be some race tomorrow, all jumbled up and on different suspension settings and tyres, shades of 1978.  Phew, glad I stayed up and invested in the live satellite alpha-test F1QA feed, excellent.  Italy never disappoints, Ethiopia '36 somewhat forgotten.

Jenson calls it as it is

    Saturday, July 5, 2008, 9:16 PM [General]

'Fitter than Jen's', Lewey is pulled out of triathalon by his Daddy. Oh mon! JB calls him 'weak', correct, then we see Kovy rattle his cage.  In the race, we cheering for Jenson to beat the little boy home.  Go Lion Go.
